Master of Science in Special Education
The MS in Special Education can be completed in as few as four semesters. All of our special education master’s programs are aimed at recent college graduates and individuals seeking teacher certification. Many of our students work during the day and attend classes in the evening. (36-39 credits)

Graduate Certificate in Education of Students with Autism and Other Pervasive Developmental Disorders
Specifically for certified special education teachers and related professionals, this certificate program is focused on developing the competencies necessary for evidence-based educational programming for students on the autism spectrum or with other pervasive developmental disorders. (18 credits)

Post-Master's Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis
Johns Hopkins is the only school of education in Maryland to offer a face-to-face post-master’s certificate in applied behavior analysis. Our curriculum is approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board for meeting the coursework and practicum requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) exam. 
A master’s degree in behavior analysis, education or psychology is required prior to applying for this program. (24 credits)
